Sept 18th at 7:30pm Orange County Hunter is going to have a meeting at Hennessey's in Dana Point and this one should be very interesting. Skip Hellen is going discuss his specialty underwater hunting products and freedive safety, Zac Schwartz will present a lobster catching seminar, "Laguna" Bob Farrand will speak about spearfishing in Puerto Escondido Mex. and some videos as well. So I hope to see you there. The orange County Hunter website is down for a day or 2 while we change servers due to the viruses out there. Hope to see you all there.

The VIS is coming back!! I was out surfing this morning (Wed.) and when the slack high tide came in I could see the bottom and there were plenty of fish jumping around. Secret spot in Dana point :) if such a thing exists...

I hope the vis keeps getting better - it's been horrible!
Steve, do you hunt the area around your "secret spot" very often? I think I tried the area once and didn't have good vis but enjoyed exploring the kelp beds in 20-25 ft. (If my guess at your spot is correct, it's a spot that Sel.. dom breaks well ;) )
