Is it legal to spear along the seawall? They have some fatties hanging out there.

As long as you have a valid Louisiana fishing license and stay within the fish and game limits, you can walk off the seawall and shoot whatever you like. I would however, beware of the fisherman and debris around the Senator Ted Hickey Bridge. The spots to check for the larger fish are around the railroad tressels, the northshore by the Causeway, and around the new fish pods they placed in the Lake a short time ago.

THIS IS WHAT ME AND MY SPERO BUDS HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN THE MIDDLE OF FOR SOME TIME NOW. BUT OUR PROBLEM HAS BEEN THAT WE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE IN THE LAKE TO GO WHERE THE WATER HAS BEEN CLEAR. BUT I THINK WE CAN FID OUT BEFOR THE RODEO. I WILL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO SLINGING SOME SHAFT WITH THE REST OF YOU!

Never count yourself out of a rodeo. Last year a guy won the miscellaneous category with a 1lb. gaspardgoo. I probably mutulated the spelling of the fish, but nonetheless, you get the point. You never know until game day. Best of luck to all who enter.

What were the results of this rodeo? Biggest Sheepshead? Biggest Fish?

A buddy of mine won it with a nine# something ounce sheepshead from what I have heard, not too sure about the rest of the fish.
