I've noticed alot of talented UW footage "shooters" on the Spearboard. Someone should make a short compilation video/DVD of spearo(s) taking one fish at a time, mixed in with archive footage of longliners/traps/comm.bycatch/carnage/dead.throwbacks/etc, as a side-by-side comparison of how truely selective Spearfishing is??? Maybe this can be shown during some of these legislative meetings, and paired with hard documented facts on how it is NOT our sport thats raping the ocean - it might help us get back some of the lowered limits back, or at least keep current limits intact? Even post that on YouTube or whatever, with all the right keywords....and get the word out there.

Good Idea, the problem with other idiots editing it to show us negatively would make it hard to pull off.It would be great to have it to attach to all correspondence with management and government groups.

Yeah, including it with correspondence would be great! It would add visuals to our words. I am hoping some of the spearfishing DVD producers (ones that are depicting spearing in the local areas that we are trying to defend) would be willing to authorize some of the footage to be used for this purpose, so it's a little more official looking (quality-wise). Its in everyones best interest
