who is th bmt. tx local that uses the rhino set up for our sabine pass rig spearin'? i'm new to the board, but understand someone is using the rig i'm lookin' at buying! just an honest no shit assessment of the set-up!

that might be me . Im not from beaumont but I dive out of sabine pass when I am in townI have relatives in Nederland and arrange to go visit them often..I have a 52" rhino with commercial muzzle and steel cable .It is fairly quick to reload . the commercial muzzle is very accurate.I am at work now so I will give you more info later when I have some time.

as far as the tip I use a slip tip http://www.slinginsteel.com/tips.html#slip
I think it is the T230 on that page .it is on a plain old threaded 54" shaft .just as with any gun you have to decide what size cable to use the larger sizes sure are a lot stronger but theyslow down the spear a lot. if you think you will be taking longer shots at smaller fish .a thinner cable might be better .
