That issue has gone around a few times, especially amongst individual states, some that argue that the flag should be dropped for every fallen soldier from the state, whils others oppose it. My mom actually wrote in to the Army Times in response to a quick editorial they did, and basically said the same thing that guy did, Why for them, but not for the soldiers?
