Silver Dollar or Tampa Sporting Clays. Silver Dollar is by Race track between Hillsborough CO and Pinellas CO.

Sporting clays is up off of Hwy 52 just north of Tampa.

It figures, My Honey's out of town this weekend and the weather forcast sucks!

I'm up for shooting some clays if anyone wants to go to silver dollar or sporting clays. If not, Keep me in mind when you want to.

I plan to do some camping with the Honey on the non diving weekends this winter.

I plan to hit a few docks and Simmons Park (Ruskin) in the kayak this weekend for snook and reds.

Anyone ever duck hunt in Tampa Bay or the surrounding areas? I plan to get my permits this yr to shoot out of the yak. I'd love to plan a shoot if anyone is interested.

Any dove shooters on the board?

I just have an urge to pull a trigger!

I have access to 1500 private fenced acres in Citrus County owned by a partnership. I have written permission to hunt it, which I have done. In years past I camp there and get in my tree stand by around 5:30AM. Plenty of deer, and come one hour before sunset you get out your shotgun and can blast dove until your heart is content. Personally, I still have rifle in hand, as that's when the big bucks out there get real active, too. This weekend I believe is "doe weekend", which improves your odds you'll be eating venison come Sunday.

Here's how I eat dove: Line up several breasts on a baking sheet, and cover with melted butter and fresh garlic. Lightly salt. Broil for a few minutes until their done. Enjoy.

Been eating them like that since I was a six year old picking them off of telephone wires with a bb gun in front of my house. :D

Hey Stalker and Dub Trub,

Well, are you going to play with my feelings or are you going to take control and put my ass on your boat Sunday?

I had this girl once tell me this once without the boat reference and yes I took control.

Scott,
I mean Sir Blastalot. (I guess that could have two meanings)
Lets go! You could be the savior of honey do overload for a bunch of us this winter.

Private land, Written permission! Rock On!

Once the hunt is done, we could all drink Budweiser with chasers of Jack before pulling out the Rhinos. I've got old shafts we can use for target practice. We could work out some awards for the board members. I could be on to something here.

with the weather being so scetchy as it has been the past couple of weeks, i have been doing my share of hunting. we mainly dove hunt with a little deer hunting mixing in there.

i hunt in two places. there is a friend of mine that his dad works for pacific tomato farmers, and there are more birds to shoot at than you have shells for. the weekend before last, we shot about 75 birds between all of us. there were so many birds that when you folded down the tailgate that the birds filled it all up, and were lumped in a dome shape.

the other fields we shoot at are an every other weekend, and there are sat and sun fields. this last sunday it was crappy, but its better than sittin at home doing nothing.

this weekend i plan on going diving and hitting some of my shallow water grouper spots, with a little stone crabbing mixed in there. well see how the weather holds up.

201ProGuide,

Sounds like my kind of shoot'n. I've got a few yrs under my belt pop'n dove around North Florida, but I've not hooked up with any decent areas to go down here. Any chance of tagging along on the next shoot?

If there's a possibility, drop me a line and I'll pass on my cell.

sorry but these are private fields. you can pay for the one that shoots every other weekend. off the top of my head, i dont know what it costs for the whole season, but it is very reasonable. if you are intrested, i will give you the guys name and number of you are intrested. the spots go fast, so i cant promise you that you will get in for next year.

the other field that i shoot at is where a friend of mine's dad works at. i only go there when i am invited, and unfortunatly i cant bring friends along.

That's alright, post up any info you have. I'll search the FWC site, but there's not a better time to be had than on private land with your Spearboard buddies.

Thanks anyway.
