Zack, call me. I have an opening that became available for the Oct 24-26 Jolly Rogers 2 trip. Water will still be warm.

Someone please call Chris, and book this trip!!! It will be lonely in the Middlegrounds this weekend without the obligatory Financial Advis VHF call to let me know about the eighteen 25# gags he shot on one dive, and how seven sharks tried to eat him as he stuggled to the surface with his stringer having only 50psi left in his tank:D :D .

Thanks Chris for hooking me up with the Akona gloves at the SO!!! Pull up to us this weekend out in the MG, Jolly Dogs on the house for you, and all your charter clients!!!

I go about 1 trip a month on the Creeper & Fin Advis has never resorted to hot dogs. Most of the guys end up gaining weight on the trip. See ya next month on the Creeper.

Told my girlfriend the hot dog joke would get a response in 24 hrs. or less. Man it wasn't even an hour!!!! You guys have a nice trip this weekend and shoot them up. Did you ever go back to that spot that Hector left his big hog laying on the bottom?

Jose, so in other words you were trying to pull the end around double za-bee-da with a triple bluejay maneuver on me. I told my wife that the kneepad reference would equally get a quick response. Checkmate:D :D!

We have not been back to that spot. I'm sure that trophy hogfish has long been turned into dusky shark fecal matter.

Are you guys ever planning on moving the JRII down this way? That was a great looking reef that Hector lost that hog on. I would like to dive it again, someday.

The JR2 is going to stay in Steinhatchee as long as Jim Zurbrick is the owner. C'mon, the drive from Pinellas County to Steinhatchee is three hours, and from Steinhatchee to the Middlegrounds is five hours max. Are you opposed to the drive time, all the while going on the Groundskeeper which takes 10-12 hours to get to the Middlegrounds (not that there's anything wrong with that :D) ?

The drive up would not be bad, but after 8 tanks in the grounds............Don't know, never done it, but I would assume that is why Jose asked, just a guess.

If I was only able to drag a cedar plug all the way up to steinhatchee. :p Truth be told, you are gonna have an awesome time no matter which trip you take.

I can get to the Creeper from my house in 15-20 min. by car going one way in town vs. 3 hrs. on the interstate and tolls.. No filling the gas tank up the next day. So, figure a tank of gas in regular or premium plus tolls. About $45-$60.Next, we troll on the way out in the afternoon catching macks, kings, blackfin, whatever will bite. The boats top speed is trolling speed,so, we take alot longer to get there. But, like the JR II the 2 capts. do the driving. Both boats stay about 2 days in the MG.The tide does not dictate what time we leave or come back due to the boats draft. We tell the Creeper what time we want to go and get back. We take 8 tanks vs. 6 tanks. Each team does 4-5 dives a day vs. normally 3 a day. The Creeper will be going up in fare to almost what the JRII costs. For now its $75 cheaper. For where I live and what I want to do, the choice is easy. If, I lived near you, then the JR II would be my choice. I had a great trip on the JRII this summer. Someday, I'll go again. Maybe, I'll win another 1/2 fare off in a tourney or my buddies will want to go again.. You wanted to know, so, I told you "my" reasons. In closing, I highly recommend the JR II as a great boat to go to the MG on. I was very much impressed with Capt. Jim and the excellent condition of the boat. He does keep Armando busy on the trip attending to keeping the boat clean, cooking, driving, putting tools back in their place, gutting fish, etc.. You did a great job and we all had a great time. So, depending on what people want either boat is a good choice. The Fish Collector is great for a day go fast boat. I don't want to leave them out. Your turn now.
