Panama City Beach
Dove in the PCBFL Schooners Lobster tourney. Another great event, big bugs, lots of partying.
We missed any good ledge for lobsters, had boat problems, but who gives a crap, everybody always holding their guns as back up. Buddy on our boat got a nice red snapper about 18 lbs. AJ's everywhere. 129' on a huge fuel tank called the Deep Can about 16 miles out of the pass.
Got a decent shot on a 30 AJ in the water column about 20' above the structure. Sank to the bottom like a rock. Then my rookie dumb ass didn't have my stringer ready at the sand and he suddenly "got life" and pulled out and kicked off in the sand out of sight.
Hey man, I'm learning. I'm out there.
But thanks for advice on the head shot I got from Slingin Steel. Next lesson: sticking him on the stringer.
P.S. Go to the Schooners Lobster 15th annual tourney next year. Lots of babes and nobody runs out of beer EVER in PCBFL.
