Bull Shoals, Arkansas

A member of my family just purchased a house walking distance from Bull Shoals in Arkansas :D . Anyone on here hunt that lake? I am thinking about making a road trip and trying to stick some fish while i'm there.

i've never dove it but its supposed to be a REALLY nice lake! send a PM to Catfish Hunter about it. i know he hunts that lake alot during the season, as he lives a short drive away in Joplin, MO.

I'm going to be down there for the opener (June 15). Camping @ Ozark Isle from 6/14 thru 6/19. I'll have a pontoon down there, give me a shout if you want to join up for a hunt or two.

Didn't know you lived in Joplin.I'll be transferring to Springfield hopefully sometime this summer.We'll have to get together.

It is in Bull Shoals, near Mountain Home. They are planning on having a boat there in the next month or 2, so if i can arrange it, i will let you all know and we can grab a :beer: beer :beer: and swap secret spots. (just because i haven't been there yet doesn't mean i can't make something up) :yawwn:

I did some reading about Arkansas, looks like you can spear about 9 months out of the year, and pretty much anything but bass are legal. Anyone stuck a paddlefish before? What kind of Vis are we talking about? depths? favorite guns?

Nope. Bass are also legal in arkansas, just not all lakes but most.
