Bug Hunting report, Malibu

Hit the pier opening night, shut out except for one of our foursome, he made up for our lack of skill with a four pound, eight oz. big girl.

Next, County line, where we all got something, one buddy got two, one three, I got 5, including a 4 pound 2 oz., and one brought in six.

Me, my new ride, and a couple of passengers I picked up last night.

Malibu pier, 10-11 PM, 15 ft vis, 13 ft, at 60F, hiding in the crap on the bottom. I had five, but two bolted when I was getting the 4.5 pounder in the bag. Still, three decent sized ones.

Me and TJ got into the bugs pretty good last night. Not too shabby for a beach dive. (Note the bug on tailgate, there are others in the bed, but they were not feeling photogenic.)
