Kevin will spend a minimal amount of time covering basic techniques. The bulk of the seminar will be comprised of more advanced aspects of freeshafting, use of the commercial gun and other topics NOT covered in his most recent talks.

Just got the word:
There will be a drawing at Aquatic Obsessions during Kevin's seminar for a 2 divers for the price of one passage on the Groundskeeper.
For $300 - 2 divers will get
-8 dives in the Middlegrounds
-near-gourmet meals
-leave and return from John's Pass, Madeira Beach
-hook and line fish between dives and at night
-shoot alongside some of the most experienced Grounds shooters
Sounds like its time to figure out who your buddies are and lock em in for the drawing that night!! Entry to the drawing is night of the seminar. Gotta be there to win.
Don't forget to call Aquatic Obsessions, 727-344-3483, to reserve your spot for the seminar.

Piece of cake.
Take I-4 to I-275, take I-275 to St Pete and get off on the 22nd Ave exit, take a right off the ramp and head West to 58th St, hang a left on 58th and the store will be at the corner of 58th St. & 9th Ave. It is in the back corner of the shopping center, sandwiched between the "Big Lots" and the "Chuck E. Cheese's"

Just talked with Bill and we will have plenty of elbow room for the seminar as he secured the adjoining space to his shop just for the seminar.
As well, along with the drawing for the 2 4 1 trip on the Groundskeeper there will be a number of other great gift drawings to include (at least):
-$50 off a GREAT taxidermy mount (this guy is incredible and a number of examples of his work adorn the walls of Aquatic Obsessions)
-a free Nitrox course
Of course there will be the great specials of SS guns that only appear at these seminars and, who knows, tis the season and all...

Take a left or right on 9th to get to the intersection of 9th and 58thSt? Thanks.

That would be 9th avenue North, if you are going south on US19, turn Right on 9th.
When you get to the intersection of 9th Avenue N and 58th Street North, the shopping center is on the NorthWest Corner. In the back, center of the shopping center is the location.
You can turn right (north) on 58th and left into the shopping center to park in the rear and enter from there, or just park in the front and walk back.
Should be the empty store next to Aquatic Obsessions (look for a dive flag type sign).

Yes, a big THANKS! You really went all out on this one, Kevin. Like I said in the other thread, attending one of his seminars is worth the drive from anywhere in the state, and probably anywhere in the southeast.
OK, anywhere in the 48 contiguous states!
Big spearboard turnout, as well. It was good to meet you guys.

I counted just over 100 people sitting, standing, and milling around in the dive shop. Spear One, you may want to be contacting the St Pete Times Forum and Ticketmaster soon. Good meeting Spearboard members in person like Speargun, Grande, Capt. Skip, and Poorshoot (who won yet another free dive trip!!!)
