I just want to remind everyone that the Freeport Fishin' Fiesta is in a few weeks. It will be from July 4th-8th.

From what I can read from their website will be 4 categories.
Snapper
Grouper
Ling
Jacks

It took me a while to find this, but:

Spearfishing
All Categories
1st - $200/Plaque
2nd - $100/Plaque
3rd - $50/Plaque
Minimum size 10 lbs. on all fish
Ling must be shot in Federal Waters

Spearfishing Categories
Amber Jack or Crevalle Jack/ Ling /Snapper family/ Grouper Family
Spearfishing DOES NOT qualify for Grand Prizes

Minimum size 10 lbs. on all fish
Ling must be shot in Federal Waters
