View Full Version : 30 foot vis.................DANA POINT
Freedove for bugs Sat and Sun night. Limits for 2 people Sat night and 3 bugs tonight. Vis was at least 30 feet, best I have seen in 6-10 months. We could see the reef while on anchor. Swell was big until about 8pm, then it settled down.
I still can't believe how good it is right now. Unbelievable.

Nice catch bro! 30 Feet?! I can't believe it. I was at Creek yesterday, but the swell was huge, so I didn't even bother going in. Today I checked out the beaches in San Diego, but the water looked like tomato soup. You could probably get past it with a boat though. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Hopefully it lasts that long.
We made another run out there this morning around 4 am. There is now a snot layer about 5' from the surface, but then it opens up pretty good, vis is about 15' now.
No bugs spotted this morning.
