Go slay em guys, unfortunately that's to short notice for me. JC, I got your message, I'll give yo a call later. Rolando, are we still on for the weekend?
Good luck
G
Yeah, we're still on G-man. I emailed you yesterday, did you get it? Maybe we can ask "Chavez" the Venezuelan if he wants to join us aboard the Cuban Comet. This will be the first time I take it out since the repairs, I hope it won't give us problems. Although, I have to be back fairly early. I got a hot date with a newly arrived Cuban SeŅorita. In other words, I'd like to catch fish by day and eat it raw by night:p
Call me if you don't have the shoot. The Venezuelan is in for a long day with two crazy cubans on board. I guareentee we'll talk more shit than catch fish:D
WEDNESDAY
NORTH WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS. NEAR SHORE...SEAS 2 FEET OR
LESS. IN THE GULFSTREAM...SEAS BUILDING TO 3 TO 5 FEET. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A LIGHT CHOP.

light breeze, seas 1 ft or less, vis 25-30 feet, water temp 82.
total.
12 -manngos most around 17 in with one jumbo 23+ incher.
2- 16 in hogs
1- 18in Cero mack
ascapees: one large 40+lbs black, several nice macks, and a few decent muttons. We had to leave a few for next time.
All in all it was a nice day. I can't wait till the winter comes.

nice..
what happen with the 40 lb black? any lobster?
The seas were smooth. The viz was good, but not great mostly because the sun took a hiatus around mid-morning. I frankly could not see the muttons from the surface on our last dive (around the 60' ledge).
We found some nice spots, including a nice ledge in 60'. We didn't measure the snapper, but I still say it was about 24". All in all, it was fun and the company was top notch. Once again, Thanks JC and OsKar for a good day of hunting.

OSkar saw him stick his head out a hole and bolt within a split second, he had no chance to react or even swim his gun into position. the big ones are so smart its great.

Spearooo, glad you had a good time. I'm in need of a quick fix as I was not able to go. I've been tempted a couple of times to put a spear through my computer screen whenever I see your avatar. Damnnnnnnn!
The Coral Gables waterways is loaded with snook. It's fun to go out there sometimes and smack them with live finger mullets. A buddy of mine, who I might add, must be the ugliest dude in the world, gave me a fillet. They are great eating!
I've seen several off government cut and really admire their appearance. They are very plump and are quite the sight. I have never had them, How do they taste? How are they usually eaten?
Also, you should be careful about fishing in the Gables waterways. Several large-size salt-water crocs are known to call the canal system in the Gables "Home".
