Since my boat engine doesnt run, we limped out to Laguna with my spare 10hp strapped on my 17' dingy. Took only about 1 hour to get to North Laguna, LOL. We had to use GPS to navigate due the fog created 100 foot surface visability. We dropped the hook in 25' just south of the Montage Hotel. We didnt see any bugs. We found a little cave in 20' that had the biggest Sheep Head I have ever seen, inbelievably big. It must be 40 pounds. It had HUGE teeth sticking out of its mouth. Do they eat lobster? There was a pile of bug remains in the same little cave.
Dana Point bouy needs the light bulb changed, it doesnt flash anymore, we came within 5 feet of hitting it last night.
The vis is still incredible.
Anyone know a good outboard tech?
