Dove the jetties on Tuesday Morning, huge snook, tarpon, and I lost a snapper in 8-10 pound range because of the new safety on my Omer 110.. Viz was 5-10-15 in some spots and we decided to move to the secret spot, ended the day with about 13 or so snappers and 1 sheepie.... Here are some pics ....


Plus I got to see my 14 year old cousin who we have mentored since a young age make some nice dives and some excellent shots..

Great job Cesar! :thumps: I've always had a great time at the jetty's in
Port A with enormous amounts of fish. The viz most of the time is great! Thanks for sharing. Like the fish photos and the smile on your face!

those mangos are like roaches there. Wish the vis would clear up a bit so I could hunt a bit more at the jetties here. Anyone got a line on a good 50-60cm gun that would have about an 8' range?

my cousin was using a 38 special with a thin shaft made by ray odor 9/32 or thinner, rigged with spectra..Perfect for those conditions .....

Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with some spear buddys in Texas , i live in Dallas and i don't know anyone to go fishing with , i have been doing the sport for over 15 years though , just new to the region ; i hear about the south texas divers ? , i'll be happy to share cost andf all.

Nice catch!! Sure is a mess of fish you got in that cooler. Nice to see the lower laguna in a report. Thats not the Queen Isabel behind you is it? Their are so many pilings, I'll never find that spot! My buddy and I were thinking about visiting SPI in december. How's the vis during that time?
