Great article about our Dave Edlund in the San Jose Mercury news. It appears Dave is a member of the "Bonds Navy" and is a professional home run ball recovery specialist. I think Dave is using a GPS to mark suspected ball locations.

Let's be honest, they each (1)take a couple of 40's, (2)chit the chat all night about the biggest ling etc., (3)avoid the nightly nagging and suddenly splash, they look and whoever is closest, (4)scoops up the ball.

We should really acknowledge Dave's mastery of 1-3. Of course the media sensantionalizes 4 but we all really know in our gut....

LOL, all I wanna know is why Dave didn't use that Kayak during the class I attended at Stillwater back a couple months. That would have been a sight!! :thumps:
