To my fellow freedivers, good news today. The water in less than 30 foot here in the Tarpon Springs area has cleared up remarkably in the past two days. I could see fish on the bottom in 20 feet of water from the deck during my fishing charters yesterday and today. Its REALLY nice. Would have been ugly if I was with a group of shooters. We did catch 15 keepers and 2 nice hogfish (I went over to "check the props for crab ropes" gun and all) Key seems to be incoming tides. When it turned to go out later in the day it got kinda murky. You can see the rocks while you're running. Might be shooting Sunday if I dare show up out there on the weekend with Capt. Hook on the prowl.

if you go sunday, im mad down to go, ill try to get my friend to lend me his shotgun in case that guy shows up at your spots...:D
i still cant believe of the number of keeper grouper you get in your shallow spots!

but im dying to see your wong gun in action, im in the process of buying a wong from rick, and dont know weither to get the mg special or the mahi gun..sunday im in the orlando area, and tampa shouldnt be a bad hike..
