looking 4 a slip tip 4 snappers & small groupers on my pole spear. Is the sea stinger 1 any good??

sea stinger is the best. jbl makes a nice tip too. if you get the jbl, make sure you get the newer ones (without the ring). if you get the stinger, get the smaller diameter with the rotating release (not the spring loaded)

gat ku tip is nice but not easy to remove from the fish. could use a little modifying

The problem with using a slip tip on grouper is that if they 'hole up" it can be harder to get them out because you can not use the pole to try to move them around in the hole. If you can get them out in the open and keep them in the open then there is no problem.
