as long as you don't mind taking lessons from a guy that's only been spearing for 5 months

yeah i don't think that would work :) HAHAHAHA

but i tell ya what....i'd be more than happy to wait and sign up for a class there with you guys and we'll all go down together as a group. it would be sorta cool to travel down with some other guys from the northeast....errr....i mean mid atlantic :D

as far as being a representative....i'll take the
position of BEER DRINKER SUPREME if that's up for grabs:toast:

oh yeah....one last note....i don't teach as much as i learn.

first day out i threw my pnuematic gun back in the boat loaded....it hit the floot....went off.....and i ended up spearing the fish bucket at the ass end of the boat. (and in the process almost speared my buddy tim in the calf:( )

i have no shame.....i've learned my lesson the hard way and can admit it.....and now i'm EXTREMELY careful with my gun at all times.

so ask yourself now.....would you REALLY want me teaching you???????:D

big males have a lot of white on thier bellies and chins. thier lips are also very white.

females are mostly black.

and just for the record....let's say a big ol 9lb female comes my way...SHE'S DINNER!!!!!

Yeah the males have white chins and a different body shape.. The females almost look short and like a camo color.. The females swim right up to you they are really currious not even really a challenge to shoot.. while the males stay away a little, there more skidish..

it's funny how thier coloring differs so much from fish to fish. some have stripes...some are completely black....some have more brown...it's really interseting.

the one above was a reather sketchy for a female. i dove down....chilled on the bottom for about 10 seconds before she showed up.....once i moved my Omer in her direction she immedietly started to swim off.....i caught her at the last second as she turned and presented a shot. i hit her a little high but it held....she fought pretty hard so i let her sit on the bottom for about a minute before i went to get her.
