This past weekend I was helping my parents clear some clutter out of their garage and since my father is huge into golfing I found a number of items that sparked my interest in making my own polespear. My father has a bunch of carbon fiber shafts and solid fiberglass poles in different diameters that are either broken on one end or are no longer useable for golfing. My question is has anyone tried building a polespear from carbon golf club shafts and fiberglass flagpoles? If so how did you go about doing it I know it would probably work out really wewll but I do not know where I should start including what type of head to use permanent or removable or one of each. Thanks for any input you guys can give me.
