Spearfisher

My brother and I went out freediving and spearfishing on friday (11/7/03) out of Tarpon Springs, FL, about 4 to 5 miles off of Anclote Island in about 30 feet of water and the visibility was great 25 feet or more (much better than the 5 to 10 foot vis that we speared in all summer here), seas were about 1 foot, and the water temp was in the high 70's, didn't even have to were the wetsuit. We ended up with 2 nice grouper, 6 mangrove snapper and a nice hogfish. We were spearing on some old pipes that have been dump out there, and the jewfish were all over them, on almost every spot we went to there were at least a few jewfish on it. Planning on going again this friday, weather permiting of course.
