Anybody go this weekend? How about some vis and fish reports.

Dove out of Ponce on Sat 9/28. Good viz in 145' with very little current or themocline. In 100' you could feel the swell surge on the bottom and the vis was only about 15 -20'. Vis in the deep stuff was about 80'. We took some nice american reds and a few AJs from the deep stuff, but the shooting inside was tough w/o good viz. The temp also dropped to 74 on the bottom in 100'.

Sounds like the old shrimp boat, 145' to the dirt and big reds.

Those scollop boat captains were nuts! Watchin' 'em come thru St. Aug. Inlet was a trip! Talk about 0 freeboard!
