instead of gettin in the water i've been after this bruiser!!!! he's got to be at least 5 1/2 years old if not 6. his skin is all saggy....eyes sunken....and he doesn't give two sh*ts about what's going on around him.....he's got that arrogant buck thing going on!!! HAHAHA it's great to watch him...he just struts around showing off!!! if he struts within 50 yards of my stand he's gonna end up hanging on my wall :D

you don't see many deer like this in central NJ!!!!!

these pics were taken on sunday afternoon, October 11th around 2:30 in the afternoon. i've seen him about 5 times since then but the closest he got was 75 yards!

I think you're very close with the aging, sent the pics to my bro who is a certified B&C scorer he said 6.5 years and 130 B&C. Using your bow so it's P&Y, and will likely score much higher. He looks like one of our Missouri deer - he must have been born around 3 mile isle. :D

NICE PICS

the pics are deceiving....he's a lot wider then he looks there. and his mass doesn't show too well in the pics either, he's all palmed out and really thick!

i figured he's be somewhere between 140-145 P&Y points. the other thing is that the body on this deer is massive and takes away from how big that rack really is. i wish i had some better pics. i've been taking my video camera with me in case he pops back out out of bow range.

hopefully i'll have some pics soon of him and i sitting next to one another :D

Nice deer for NJ. I like to see the discussion change with the seasons. I'm hunting next week. Maybe I'll be able to post a kill pic.

i shot a different 9 point last saturday but haven't had a chance to download the pics. he's young....only three years old. i normally wouldn't take such a young deer with that bruiser running around but he's got a double main beam on the left side and he's really cool looking. i've got pics somewhere of him from last year and he was only 7 points then. i probably should have let him walk....cause i'm sure he would have made an amazing 5 or 6 year old.....but he is cool as hell. plus....my meat locker was getting low and i needed some meat.

anyway....one i get the pics i'll post em up! good luck with your hunt!
