Does anyone have suggestions for a good strong bag [i.e. canvas, zip up or tie up or domes, etc] to store my Manny Puig pole spear in?

Omer apparently used to sell a pouch for them but now do not sell them :wtf: :bang: They may be available still somewhere - does anyone have a view on if they were any good (ie, would they last 10 years?).

The largest spear section is 94 cm long, and with the thick rubber on this spear, the circumference for such a bag would need to be about 20 cm around to be easy to use.

For my 3-prong, which is longer, I went to a fishing shop and they gave me a light canvas type tube they sell new rods in:thumps:, which is fine for that, but it is too narrow for my MP spear.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

I use plastic tubes to store polespears in. They work well as they are rigid and waterproof.
If you can find some cheap and thinwalled PVC from Home Depot big enough to slip your pole in, I would say this is the best economical aproach to storing and traveling with your polespear.

You can glue a cap onto one end and make a removab le cap on the other with a zip or wire tie. This makes it easier for it to pass through inspection when traveling.

I have some tubes on the GAT-KU website that I offer as an upgrade. They are rigid enough to ship my customers polespears in. I don't sell them seperatly though. I would seriously go for the plastic.

Thanks Dustin,
I agree this is probably a good solution, particularly for air travel, but I wanted to check out if there was anything else obvious I was missing before I did that.
