Has anyone ever heard of or used an "Andre" brand gun? I have found one for sale, supposedly made of teak by "one of Indonesia's top watermen". Seller is located in Hawaii. I sent a request for more info regarding triggger mech, etc. I was just hoping someone out there might have some experience with one of these guns.

I have on of the 57" models, the handle is even made out of wood. I won it at the Hell Divers Rodeo this year. It is a beauty but I wont ever shoot it, it's my trophy.

Hi,

I bought one and it's a 64", 4 5/8" bands, and 7/16" shaft. It's a beautiful gun. You can see on my left, my avatar of my first WSB. I shot it with my Andre gun. I wouldn't trade it for another "bluewater" gun. In fact, I'm planning on using it for tuna, wahoo, etc.. possibly next year!
