We went out a little late in the afternoon, the tide was rising and so was the surf. Just as i got out side the surf, I had a school of 8 or 9, 15 to 20 pound King Makerel come in on me. The viz was 15 to 20, and i held off on them too long. So after that i saw a nice rooster just on the edge of my viz, and still did not get a shot. My brother on the other hand was up in the shallow reef area and got 2 nice Parrots and a small grouper.

Thanks Bom. How far are you from San Jose and what is the best route to take if I rent a car?
Then, how far from Jaco are you?

I recomend when you rent a car down here you get the gps, because there are no street signs, as far as the road to take there is one real route from San Jose. Then Jaco is about 2 and 1/2 hours south.

Yesterday, I dove the north end of playa Pelada, the viz was 0 untill i got outside of the surfline where it opened up to 25 to 30 ft. I had Cierra around me the whole dive, i shot a small one right off the bat, and just cruzed with them for a while. Then i saw a small rooster (10lbs or so), and shot him too(perfect dinner size). As i was fighting the rooster i was schooled by at least 50 of them just like yellowtail, it was great. In the rear of the roosters there where a couple of nice yellow jacks around 20 to 30lbs. So i started to head back and had a school of big Cierra come in on me, and i lined up and took the biggest one. I had a great time and just wanted to share it with you all.
