What would be a good length for a rear handle with a extended butt primarily used for hunting striper?

depends on viz a bit.....but 42-48 inches seems about right.

i wouldn't go any smaller than 42"....but i guess if the water was clear enough 50" would be prime!

I would agree that a 90cm would be best for bass, but may be to big for blackies.. I use a 75cm and i think its to small..

ive shot stripers with a 50cm gun,i just like the 90 better

Oyster...i agree with you 100%. 75cm is perfect for Tog but a little too small for stripers.....while 90cm is a little big for tog but perfect on stripers. so i decided to split the difference and have steve at poseidonsub build me a gun right in the middle.

steve is building me a Euro right now that i plan on using as a striper gun. it's a 82.5cm Eurookume with two 5/8 bands running a mori shaft and slip tip!

it's enough power for a striper but still small enough to get around the waters of the northeast! i can't wait for it to get here!!!!!!
