I have never been a fan of mounting a loaded powerhead on a speargun even with the safety in place. Too many things can go wrong! Keep it in a pocket or pouch and screw it onto your shaft if and when you need it!

I leave my PH on my line shaft at times but do not load it till I need it . I have found it is easyer for me to load it when the time comes . If for some reason I do not use it I unload it right away!
Do you want it for defence or what ??? I see a lot of guys get some inter tubes and make bands to put the PH on the rear of the gun. What brand of PH did you buy??

D4B has that same set-up as you Rich looks like a KILLER set-up. But I thought its only good for that one shot and then you reload it on the surface . Thats why I asked what he wants the PH for .
ZDS at that price it should work just fine ..

How many misfirers do you get ? Have you ever had trouble with a dull tip not fireing the PH? Line, free shaft or both?? You know who this is right ?

Well it depends how many you want to carry... you can always use some electrical tapt to tape it to your barrel/handle... this works with euro guns.

Anyhow... I would only carry one in case you really NEED it Vs a large and aggressive shark... but whatever takes your fancy.
