Do any of you guys on the mainland know of a place to get a used engine bracket? I have a 22' Mako that I am going to start working on and I want to enclose the transum. I have looke on the internet and only found smaller parts. Any leads would be appreciated.

Brian,
Don's Salvage in St. Pete has tons and tons of marine parts. Pretty far away from you, but the next time I'm over there I'll look for you. Or, maybe you could get him on the phone and see what he has. Are you looking for stainless or a molded type bracket?

Call Jason at JBY outboards in Seminloe. 727.639.6565. Tell him you are a board member and mention Denny. Jason is AWESOME.
Call him for any outboard needs. He is the only mechanic I will let touch my motor.

I used to see them alot in the S. Fl Boattrader magazines. For some reason there was more in the mag. than on their site.

Thanks for the leeds. I was looking for a single engine with 24-27" offset, and a swimplatform out of aluminum.
