Nice pictures man, i wouldn't go showing that commercial pic off to too many NJ residents they're pretty strong in they're opposition of commercial striper fishing. Myself, i don't mind as long as its not a blood bath, i do commercial minnowing up here. I like the sheepshead pics, can't wait to run into one.

Virginia.
Stripped bass is well regulated in virginia. We are issued a certain number of pounds we can catch. Its works out well.

mass has B.S regulations. I don't work the boats anymore but once u catch your limit...everything else needs to be thrown over. It's jus a big waste. I think it's stupid. If you go over the limit you should be able to keep the catch and just wait time until your quota is cleared....difficult to say in words so idk if im making sense with you guys.

We had this Striper bite one year where my friend and i caught 1100lbs hook and line near the North Carolina line. We used one bucktail and a Pork Rind. Everyone around us was trolling and we were catching them left and right by using the bottom machine. I would cruise until i marked the fish, hit it in neutral, then hit it in reverse and just jig over the school. The lure would never make it to the bottom. All the fish were 20lbs and up. Filled 2 320 ssi coolers and the floor.

my biggest striper, sorry about the quality:rolleyes:,im lucky i got him,the shot hit him in the gill plate on the opposite side and only penatrated a little bit,i shot right near the boat so i grabbed him and my dad was able to throw him up on the boat. The other one is a big tog my dad caught off of a wreck straight off lbi.

We're grateful that it is well regulated. Having said that, nice pics. Makes me hungry to get in the water again soon! :thumps:
