CORAL SEA TRIPS
My son and I have been spearfishing the Coral Sea for the last few years. You may have seen some of the videos I have posted on this forum.
This year 2008, Ant and I are running trips for Extreme Spearfishing. One in October and one in November. These are 12 days, live-aboard going to reefs like: Saumerez; Frederick; Kenn; and Wreck. There are still spots available for anyone interested.
Here is a clip made by Ant with most of the footage from last year 2007 trip.

I loved that stone shot near the end of the video.

Great video. What boat are you using Judge? I did the Coral Sea in 2006 on Norkat II with only 10 divers and it was great. I know some of the other boats take 14 or 16 spearos and it can get hectic. But I'm keen to come back, provided its a small group and the targets are pelagics...some trips seem to spend a lot of time shooting trout and other reef fishes, which I don't need to travel half-way round the world to spear.

Mate, There are 4 trips going this year from Extreme Spearfishing. The first 2 are just about full. Ant and I are running one each and there are spots on those. One in Oct and one in Nov.
The boat our trips are on is called the Booby Bird and it is one of the boats that takes 16 divers. :D Hectic isn't the word.... ha ha more like Wild.

Our trips are focused on Tuna and wahoo and other pelagics. Sometimes people want to shoot trout so they go together in a dory and the rest of us get out there and blast away, with teasers, burley and big guns. :D

PS: I don't work for Extreme Spearfishing. Just running the trip for them.
