Team Running with Scissors will be there. Looking like a great turnout this year. Several new teams joining up from all sides of the state.
I know of a few potential rides available if any one is looking to hook-up for the tourney.

I'm also looking to join a team, anybody looking for a third diver???
What are the usual water temps in Tarpon Springs in early April?

It varies depending on the timing of any cold fronts but usually around 70 degrees. Vis can be great at that time of year, again, depends on how long its been calm. Last year we had top to bottom vis in 40 feet. This will most likely also be the last year you can take 5 gags.

I might have a boat for hire if a team needs a good platform with great numbers.

Hey all, Looking to go to this tournament (thought it would be at the end of april for some reason - got caught off guard).
If anyone is looking for a 3rd diver, let me know via PM or 954.554.8991

I am still looking to be a third person on a team, let me know if anyone has a spot that opens up.
Also, I have a buddy that is also a great freediving spearo that would want to go, so if anyone in the Tampa area has a boat and wants to shoot this tourney we can join you. We have also been offered some productive numbers in the tourney area, so it's no big deal if you don't have any numbers.
Finally, if you have a boat and want to take out some divers I'm sure I could find a third person for a team. We will cover all the gas and can give you some cash for your expenses within reason. I REALLY don't want to tow my boat up there.
Thanks guys, let me know if any of you can help me out.

The vis is awesome and the fish are in thick. This could be the best fish and vis combination that this tournament has ever had. If you are on the fence it is time to get a game plan together. The liars at NOAA are calling for 2-3 foot seas wich makes it doable for just about any size boat.
It looks like we will have about 12 teams +/-. Even if you can't make the tournament you should come to watch the weigh-in.
Good luck to all:beer:

Sorry I missed even the weigh-ins. I left from Sarasota that morning to go to Ft Lauderdale. Nice turn out, looks like some nice fish were shot.
