Spearing buddies in NYC, NJ area

I am going to be looking for spearfishing partners as this is turning into my new passion......You are welcome aboard my rig...2006 Fountain 33SFC out of Jersey City....I will be looking to do some Bass spearing, and would love to jump some wrecks and reefs for blacks as I get better. Hey man, I am right in nyc..the path is across the street from me and in the summer I will be living on the nj shore. Just as you this is my new found obsession. I'll be glad to throw dwn for some gas, food, etc. Let me know cuz i'm dying to get some bass and taug! Awsome boat by the way.

Fishy, I am going to be freediving...I fish Breezy Point pretty regularly, and beach the boat around there in the summer to go swimming..

About negative 2 weeks, that's when I am starting...but don't worry I am more than accomplished as a bluewater fisherman:D

You may want to look into a course. I definitely recommend performance freediving and FIT is probably good too. Also, you may want to come to DutchSprings in PA. You can join the eastcoastfreediver group on yahoo http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eastcoastfreediver/ to get updated on when we dive out there. Anyways, hopefully we'll have a chance to get out and get some fish.
