Thats great news, but with the water temps in the hi 40's/low 50's you gotta have some brass balls to take the plunge.

I jumped in around a few jetty's and the vis up here in Monmouth County was less than 1 foot in the afternoon :(. Going to give it another try in the morning if the chop lays down.

I jumped in at a spot I don't usually do this morning. The vis was really good 10-15 maybe. Water temp wasn't too bad either with the outgoing. I didn't see a single shootable flounder though. At least there's a decent swell on the way.

how do you know there is a swell on the way? Any ideas what people think Saturday will be like?

Here's some links to help with the swell forecasting. All of us that surf end up becoming amateur meteorologists at some point.

Yeah,I'm starting to like magic seaweed. I was using that one on a trip one time and it was good. I just started looking at it at home. My friend has been using it for a long time and he says it's his favorite too. Now if only I could get some time and stop missing every swell this year. Ahhhhh...... Like the one I'm missing at this very moment. The voicemails I'm getting are like a knife in the gut right now.
