what shaft is best for a hawaiian sling,i bought one at diversdirect in keywest and it was really cheap,i want to get a better one but am not sure what the best one would be.Thanks for any help.

or florida freedivers. the tip the the back of the flopper is an inch on some of there sling shafts. they have a wide variety also

The best I have used are 7.5mm tricut tip. I got them from ray at hawaiiansling.net. The only ones I have used that have an arrow like flight. Most shafts are heavy in back and light in the front causing the tip to rise and the base to drop. Heavier shafts are good for rocked up fish, but suck for longer shots.

The tri-cut tips from Ray are actually Rob Allen Hawaiian Sling Shafts
These are becomong very popular.
