Went out today - Far Rockaway NY

I went in at around 11am at high tide. As soon as I got in I could see that there was a lot of particulate clouding up the viz and making it about 3 - 4 feet. The water temp was about 52 at the surface. I spent about an hour in the water. On one of my first dives I saw what looked like it might have been a large enough Tautog to shoot but I couldn't really make it out before it saw me and zipped away. After that I saw some small ones but nothing large enough to shoot at. I'll probably try again next week if the weather's nice.

7 tog biggest around 10lbs and viz was pretty good not great but good

I wear a 5mm picasso apnos.

I'm going to try and make it out again next week if the weather holds. It isn't looking great though.
