Hi everybody. So, my girlfriend is going out with me and my fam. on our Memorial day trip to the islands and I've been trying to figure out to get her equipped enough to do some diving without freezing to death. I'd rather not buy her a suit for the four day trip.

My hope is that perhaps one of you has an old suit and perhaps fins that you'd be willing to let me borrow or even rent. I'll be driving to San Diego from Berkeley on the 22nd, so anywhere between here and there is fair game. Please guys, help me out. I talk about diving so much, and shes never done it before, I'd really like her to have a good time. Shes about 5'5''-5'7'' and average weight. Anything is better then nothing.

Please post or PM me if you think you've got anything that'll foot the bill. Unlike some of the people involved in recent incidents, any damage or loss of equipment will be more then compensated and I will personally ensure that anything lent to me will be treated better then I treat my own stuff.

Thanks everyone.

True and thats my back-up, but I assumed that its way expensive and way crappy... Correct me if I'm wrong.

The last time I rented gear from Sport Chalet (mind you it was 5 years ago) it was fairly nice gear compared to smaller dive shops I had rented from the wetsuits did not have holes in them and seemed fairly well taken care of.

I don't know her exact dimensions, but like I say, shes about 5'6'' and... (I'm afraid to estimate a woman's weight, seems like its always a trap...) maybe 130? Her shoe size is 8-8.5 women's, so 7-7.5 men. I'll look into Sport Chalet, but second hand gear would still be preferred. Thanks.

PM me when you get in, with thick booties, i've got fins she could wear. i'm gonna guess that she wouldn't want to borrow one of my wetsuits (too big plus they've been peed in a ton)
