awful to worse

Yesterday it was total crap with no vis off belmar,elberon or spring lake.The wind picked up in the late morning and was not only high but cold as well.Mostly out of the northwest.
Went out to shark river inlet and the beach late pm and it seemed much cleaner.
Went out this morning and it was brown top to bottom with awful looking blooms everywhere.I did not bother going in either day but a friend went in today and reported a foot of vis as the highlight of his dive.
Can't stick em if ya can't see em.

Too bad you got skunked both days. Yesterday was not good for us, and I gave up on even trying today. These east winds have me concerned for tomorrow. I might head to the Cape May Jetty tomorrow with fishing tackle and fish the surf, but bring the dive gear just in case. Did you drive down both days, or stay over in Jersey?
