Kayak for NJ shores.

Hi guys.
Got a question. Which kayak(in cheaper price range around $300.00) is good for NJ shores? Loking for one which can support around 450-650lbs( me plus scuba gear), can be handle by one pwrson, launch and retrive from shores and easy stowable and transportable. I was thinking to use my Sevlor pontoon boat, but it is a bit pain in the but on ponds and rivers. I have previous experience of hadling boats and wives, but not a kayak on the ocean. Ny the way, launch will be mostly in Sandy Hook, Point Pleasant areas.

i have a sit in wit a x large cockpit, sit in kayak and dont want to buy a sit on also was thinking of rigging a stabalizer on one side and try to launch that on flat days, wont get through the surf, anyone ever try and dive out of a sit in kayak?
