What this is about: the regulations for the preferred alternative and the other alternatives for the north central coast are going to notice, and there is a time limit for comments. The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) makes sure that the proposed regulations do not have a negative effect on the environment - and for abalone, they do!

We need people to write letters opposing the preferred alternative and supporting 2 XA because if they close Salt Point State Park, Sea Lion Cove and Saunders reef, the remaining areas open to the public will soon be DEVOID OF ABALONE.
