Hello Jeff,

We just wanted to let you know that the account activation links are being sent out. You should receive an Email with detailed instructions and the activation link to get you started soon. If you already received it please do not delay in completing your interview. We are sending the activation link out in a rolling wave so that we can avoid an overload of the system. If you have not received a notice yet you will soon. Thank you in advance for your participation and we appreciate your patience as we get started. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you, Jon Bonkoski

I got one just like that. And then I got this followup.

Hello Bill Mcintyre,

Sorry for any confusion. The previous Email is referring to the MLPA south coast recreational fishermen interview that we are conducting. You received this Email because you signed up to be interview. Subject lines are helpful and I apologize for the confusion. I hope this Email helps to clear it up.

Thanks, Jon Bonkoski

I got one just like that. And then I got this followup.

I wrote back and got the following reply... still not clear if I have been selected or just an acknowledgement that I have registered.

Jeff,
This email was just an update to let you know we are about to start the interview process. Please be on the look out for an email with the activation link.

Hello Jon,
I am confused. Have I been selected to be interviewed or is this email notification of my request to be interviewed?

Jeff

Gent's,
I got the same messages, Eco-trust is having some issues to work out with the survey ; please be patient.

Another e-mail will arrive with a link to their site to start the survey , I encourage all to sign up & take as much time as needed to fill these out ; It will be worth it.

Well it looks like I will be one of the lucky one's to complete the survey. I received a third email advising me I will be sent the link in a few weeks.

ironic since even the second email didn't have a subject line. Hope they are brighter than they seem.

I actually deleted both thinking they were spam and then by chance openned one up while searching for a differnet email I accidently deleted.

Just completed the survey, took about 60 minutes. I am part of all rec user groups so if you only dive it might go faster. Donny

good job guys:thumps:
i filled mine out and about 6 fathomiers have finished it as well
i would once again encourage everyone to be truthfull and focused
it is about getting the detailed concentrated info that shows our intrests the most
especially around the coast
(the island spots are well known by the other intrest groups)

also remember that once you activate the account you have 4 days to complete it

I did mine today and had one problem. As you moved your cursor over the chart, the Lat/Lon read out in the lower right corner, and this was supposed to let you be precise in drawing your areas around spots for which you had the coordinates. That sounded like a great idea since I wanted to draw some areas along sections of the coast for which there were no obvious land masses to use for reference. However, if I placed my cursor so that the lat/long readout was correct, it was a mile or so ashore. I had to end up guessing to draw those areas.

Did anyone else have this problem?

how much detail are they asking.?? can we show areas - ie the Laguna coastline - or do they want this cove and that cove??

You can use whatever detail you wish.
