Got a vis report from Chad at Jims Dive Shop at 6:00pm Tuesday. They were west of Johns Pass about 25nm in 90 ft. and had aout 5 feet of vis. Next dive they went 10 miles south but the vis was no better. Next into 55ft and the vis was less than 5 ft. UGHhh!

My commercial boat left this morning (without me) in a flat calm sea to go Amberjack and Grouper fishin & shootin. They were going to catch up a livewell full of fresh worms just in case the vis was bad , start fishin in 125ft and continue on to 160ft tonight. I will post a full report Thursday morning so you guys will know if there is any vis or fish in the tall water!

It sound like it will take a week or more for the vis to get better, but only if these fronts will slow down. It looks like these big SW & West blows we get off this El Nino are gonna keep things a little stirred up this winter here on the west coast. Ya'll be careful and "Catch Em Up".

Certainly, but if you were on board I might make an exception!
You would make a fine batch of shark bait.

Were they down south of Egmont channel? Hopefully it was better to the north where my boat went!

Negatory on better to the north. I went hook and line fishing today out of Port Richey, and 25 miles out the vis was obviously bad. I could not see my lead more than 2' under water.
