After 7 long years of tossing my freeshaft at her I finally landed the best catch ever. On Oct. 30 she gave in and married me. (I did'nt say she was perfect). I just recieved the wedding photos from a friend. We lost the memory stick with ours on it. Anyway, without a dout I am the luckiest man alive to have her. Mel is the best boat driver, support diver, and dive buddy a guy could ask for...along with some other things;) ! Right now I am missing her because she is in the islands visiting relatives for 2 weeks and for the last 7 year we've never been seperated for any longer than a 2 day dive trip......OK, yes this sounds very sappy but this is for her not you guys anyway......Hi Honey, I miss you very much!

Right there with you. I tie the knot on March 20th. Very excited, but mostly ready to stop worrying about the wedding and more about being in the water. She supports the habit, so it is a good thing! This is her with her first two hogs shot freediving in KW...

Life does'nt get any better than to come rushing home to find all your gear ready, bag packed, spears sharpened, and dinner ready to go, just so I can run off on a two day dive trip. She digs what I do even if she is'nt able to go all the time. There is'nt a luckyer guy on the planet than myself! But it looks like your on your way!

Okay, I'll be the one to say it if no one else will. As nice warm and fuzzy as it all is I enjoy getting away from the wife to hunt, dive, fish. She knows it and enjoys the distance herself. I mean, "how can you miss me if I never leave?"

Having someone in your life you can share everything with, especially a sport like spearfishing, is the greatest thing in the world. And since we are giving thanks and praise to the better halfs... i'd like to express how fortunate and happy i am with my spearfishing buddy, girlfriend and best friend... Julie Riffe.
