Jay Riffe used to (an still may for all I know) have a photo on the wall in his office with a few guys and their Pacific Halibut taken in Alaska with his guns.

that first video is why most halibut charters have a .410 shotgun handy, pounding on an 80 pounder with a gaff is not quite comforting to tourists on their first trip into the Gulf of Alaska.
