We are gonna be taking our boat down to Key West April 8-18. Anyone have any reccomendations on a good 3 bedroom house/condo that is available in Key West? One on the water with a dock is preffered. Also will be looking for local shooters (with #'s!) to hook up with for many local and several tortugas day trips. Would appreciate any condo/house reccomendations asap, cause I have a feeling the good stuff is getting booked soon if it isn't already. Thanks alot!

There aren't too many places here to rent with docks. The Hilton has one with temp slips. Is your boat trailerable? The City Marina has a good ramp & some temp slips & mooring balls w/dingy dock. Also A&B Marina has some temp slips. If you are military, I can really hook you up. Almost everything here has a web site, so some time on a search engine may do some good.
Also would love to go spearing with you. I will probably be gone from 5-11 Apr (hopefully to Middle Grounds), but would be happy to play after that.

My dad is retired military...does that work or must he be active? I will get in tough with you before we go down there and we can definately hook up.

No, that is PERFECT. You will need your folks with you unless you still have your dependnet's ID card. There are 2 military marinas, on Sigsbee Island in Key West & Boca Chica, the second island north of Key West. There are trailers, townhomes, & a Navy Lodge to stay at. I recommend the trailers as the best value for the money. Stayed there 4 summers in a row & loved it. The townhomes are more money, but nicer. Navy lodge is closest to the marina on Sigsbee.
Here are the phone numbers (all 305 area code):
Trailers & townhomes, Sigsbee marina - 293 5000
Navy lodge - 292 7556
Boca Chica Marina - 295 2468 (use if your boat is not trailerable)
You guys will have a great time.

Check out some of the adds in Florida Sportsman; I have gotten some great deals out of there..........I don't know if the last place I rented from is still under the same owners, but it was called Sunwater Rentals......It was a great place for a great price.
