Cape May-Inlet

I'm going to try out the Cape May Inlet for the first time on Sunday morning, if anyone is up for it. Low tide is around 9ish

Question, can i walk from the Cape May side, north to the Jetty, or is it blocked by the Coast Guard?

It's blocked on the Cape May side. It's about a 1/2 mile walk up the beach from Wildwood or you can go to the toll bridge and try hitch hiking a ride from a friendly boat. I don't know if that would work but if you flash someone a crisp $20, it might.

Come to think of it, that's a good idea with gas prices being so high!

I guess I'll be on north side walking from Wildwood in the morning.

though the satelite pics look good for the south side. Another time, I might try to bring my kayak and paddle from cape may to the south side jetty and park the yak on the beach, if that is legal?
