Would it be any cheaper if I went closer to the source. My boss goes to Zimbabwe in a week. I know Rob Allen and Rabitech are in South Africa, but if theres any place I could get him to pick me up a gun in Zim that would be sweet. Is it possible? and would it save me any money? I really want a new RA

Just call Florida Freedivers...
If you were going to South Africa yourself then it could make sense, but how will you get it back? Shipping or airline luggage? The airlines are charging for extra bags, if it's oversized (which it will be) you will have to pay for that too. Shipping is expensive too. Either way there are so many ways for things to go wrong or to cost extra money that by the time you get the gun, if you get it here at all, you will spend at least as much. Not to mention that you may be more willing to go out of your way to help the process, what's your boss going to do?

I'm certainly not made of money, but I don't think buying a new Rob Allen locally is all that expensive compared to buying some other brands.

Yeah I think Florida Freedivers has great prices. Just thought it would be something neat to investigate. My boss goes hunting there every year, and theres enough extra room in his rifle case for a railgun no problem, so theres no extra fee to get it back. I know the man that he hunts with overthere has a speargun, so just thought I'd ask around and see if anyone knows if they sell em there, and if they're cheaper.
