Where do you prefer to spearfish poll

I marked wreck for sheer variety of species and the cool factor of seeing something underwater that's supposed to be above water.

For sheer production of fish it is hard to beat a rarely hit ledge or piece of live bottom.

I have to say the few times i've swam in blue water looking for mahi have been incredible. Theres nothing quite like swimming in water so clear its almost disorienting.

I marked wreck as well. Nothing like doing a deep drop in current, trying to manage drift and depth to hit the wreck just righ. Droping and wondering if you missed it and hitting sand, then drifting a bit further to see the dark shadow appear. Large pelagics in the water column above it. Each one is different and fun to explore. Some are broken in half like toothpicks. Watching that bump on the sonar and seeing all the fish echos around it. That is my favorite type of dive.

Definitely pelagic if theres alot of fish. If not I like diving wrecks.

Reefs, wrecks and rock piles. It is too far to dive rigs. I have seen some wrecks hold mad AJs, snapper and grouper.
