Kuiaha Bay

I understand that access from shore to Kuiaha Bay is through private land. I do not wish to violate the privacy of this area without permission from those who live and care for the kahawai. I also understand that there has been conflict regarding access to Kuiaha in the past.

I am just wondering if anyone knows the owners and whether or not they would permit a respectful person and dive buddy to drive down and make entry to the water from the Bay. I will be happy to commit to take nothing but pictures and memories and leave nothing but footprints in the pebbles. I am just mesmerized by the beauty of the waters and formations of the bay and would very much like to enjoy seeing them from below.

Can anyone put me in touch with owners or caretakers of the adjoining land and access road?

Im sure you know but the Hawaii Skin Diver website gets a lot more activity in hawaii and you would have more luck finding info on hawaii there.

As far as I know its state law that no beach in Hawaii can be private and land owners have to provide public access to all beaches.
